Prenuptial Agreements: Supreme Court Decision

A prenuptial agreement or ‘prenup’ is made before entering into a marriage or registering a civil partnership. The agreement seeks to set out in the event of the marriage/ civil partnership breaking down what should happen to your finances, e.g., property division, lump sum and/or maintenance payable to you, your partner, or any children.
